Why does Pam take the aluminum foil?

About 65 minutes in when Pam has made dinner, Mr. Shoop has his "surfing metaphor" talk with her, and she's leaving upset. He tries to get her to stay, and she says something like "it's just food" and goes to make her exit. But she stops, looks at the counter, grabs the aluminum foil and heads out. It seemed such an odd thing to do. Why does she care about the aluminum foil?

I just re-watched that scene. This is just my take, but I think it's just one of those "impulsive things" that someone young who's infatuated/in love and feeling hurt would do. I don't think there's any hidden meaning behind it, or anything like that...it was Pam striking back at Mr. Shoop in a weird sort of way.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think there was a hidden meaning, but I couldn't think of ANY meaning. She sure showed him, though. Maybe we can imagine Mr. Shoop inside as she walks out, going "Awww, come on, not the foil! And I'll have all these leftovers..."
