Blood + gore classroom scene

Definitely one of the best/funniest scenes in a movie yet! I love how you can see the principal trying not to laugh.

Completely agree. I remember seeing the movie in the theater when it first came out, and laughing my butt off at that scene. Laughing to tears actually.

It's such a brilliant movie. Totally up there in my fave movies of the 80's list. :)

you all too violent, I recommend cutting back the sodium out of your diets.

I thought it was great. Does anyone know what that eye with the pencil stuck in it was made out of? I noticed the guy took a bite out of it. Just curious.

reply

It looks like it was made out of a lollipop.

I love Summer School, I watch it a dozen times every summer.

I always thought it was simply a gum ball.

Sodium leads to aggression?

I thought it was lack of alcohol.

Does anyone know where i can find pics of this movie? especially this scene and the killer bunnies scene!?

reply

I'm surprised this movie is PG-13 with all the sexual innuendos, bad language, and gore! Yeah that scene kicks ass.

That is one of the most unexpectedly wonderful scenes in modern cinema. It totally made the movie when I was a kid. Chainsaw rules!

I met Chainsaw at a Circuit City I was working at in Westwood Village in LA about 5 years ago and I told him how much I loved that character. He was really cool about it and was really a nice guy.

Where on the net can I find this scene? I haven't checked YouTube, yet.

reply

It's not on youtube, trust me. I've looked.

Oh geez, thank you so much for putting that up. I remember seeing that hand pull out the tongue when I was a child and I think that set the standard for the rest of my life as far as gore is concerned. I enjoyed seeing it again. I think I'll have to buy this movie, should be pretty cheap. Thanks!

I don't know who actually applied the special effects make up but those scenes were designed by Rick Baker.

This is a comedy and not a horror movie guy! Sorry this movie does not show any nudity at all. I wished the foreign exchange student would have shown some nudity in this movie though.

reply

Just because it's a comedy, doesn't mean that scene wasn't gory. The stripper dude was playing with his own intestines and Chainsaw ate his eyeball. That's gore.

Yes I know that. That was the only scene in the movie that was gorey. All the rest of it was a comedy though. I know what gore is because I have been watching movies for a very long time now.

That is one of the best parts of the movie that I loved! So that part is gory but it is good though.

I loved the substitute teacher's reaction: "Is that your blood? Who's blood is it?" The way she delivers that line...
