like with Rocky IV, whenever it's on, I'm glued to the TV.

BTW, this movie is so good because it doesn't hide the fact that it is using up every 1980s high school teen cliche. BTW, it's too bad that the guy who played Chainsaw never made it that big, he was the best actor in the movie.

True...I would have thought that Dean Cameron (Chainsaw) would have gone onto BETTER & BIGGER things! Here's his info:

I watched this again just the other night for the first time in years; gotta say, it still makes me laugh! I also watch the Brady Bunch movie whenever it's on, I just can't help myself.

dmoreno, I thought the same thing too. He was pretty damn funny in this. Was surprised to see that Gary Riley had died.

Yeah...I too tripped out when I heard of Gary Riley's passing as well-it's sad they way he died! And then to hear that he and Dean didn't even get along on set during the filming of the movie...

Gary Riley, the actor from "Summer School", is still alive. His last acting credit was in 1996 for the movie "Fear". There was a different Gary Riley who passed away and some people mistakenly thought it was the actor.

actually Rhonda, i think she was the pregnant one maybe...is the girl who was in the Saw movies if that means bigger and better....and was on Becker

Yes...your right...Rhonda was played by Shawnee Smith,and she did make it well after Summer School!

The plot and story structure was fine. In fact, as I was watching this a few days ago, I was surprised at how well written it was. It's a comedy. I don't think they were going for an Oscar...
