siskel and ebert did review it

I was surprised. I thought this wasn't screened for critics. I did see Roger review it for the paper since it was on his website (gave it half a star) but I didn't know that they did review it. Check out siskelandebert.org to see complete shows. As to their review, they were right, this was a terrible film. They didn't even mention the teenage pregnancy, which doesn't belong in a film like this.

Seriously? Teen pregnancy doesn't belong? Do you realize how common teen pregnancy is now compared to back then (1987) it show why one students grades went down. I thought it fit well for the movie and I rather enjoyed the film myself. That's just my opnion

If you are going to do a film about a pregnant teenager, at least write it smart, like in Juno. Here it just seemed like it wasn't even needed. And also, that is a serious issue to begin with.
