With the remake of The Stepfather on the horizon that the original film gets put out on DVD with either the release of the remake in theaters or on DVD the same date the remake comes out on DVD. Kinda like what they did with The Ring and Ringu. Would be nice. I can hope this happens anyway.

Thank you, Skelotonman13. I took your advice and wrote all three of them e-mails. I want The Stepfather on dvd before the decade is out! I took a look at the titles all 3 of those firms have and was surprised to see titles that I hadn't seen on video shelves for more than 15 years. Until now, I thought it was only Anchor Bay and Elite Entertainment that specialized in distributing older, obscure horror flicks.
is terry o'quinn gonna be in the remake? that would be so awesome.
