What company owns the rights to this on dvd anyone think this will finally be released?

maybe; ITC owns the rights; it must be in the same mangled situation as Blade Runner was (10 years, man to come on dvd). The Stepfather with a supurb picture IS available on the internet. A mere $40.00 region free dvd-player does the trick. I can't tell you the website because "They" will find out, complain, and shut the link down. People who complain are rotten; I hate them like I "hate" Lee Atwater (God Rest His Soul)--I've since foregiven him, his legacy is hurtful and terrible though.
