Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for the TV Version and wondered if anyone can help? Some of the extra footage has been described on the message board already, it includes:

Stephanie investigating the burnt car her counselor was killed in

Susan walking to the basement to ask Jerry why he didn't want to talk to Stephanie's counselor- before Jerry killed him

Jim Ogilvie was in bed with that lady from the clerk's office (Annie)

at the very end Susan is in the kitchen when she hears a chainsaw

I've already obtained one TV Version that was shown on TNT Monstervision but it was only cut and didn't feature any of the alternate footage.

Does anyone has this? I have lots of other TV Versions and stuff to trade.

I sure wish I could help, because I'd LOVE to see this version myself.

I've heard about it time and again over the years, but have not been able to locate it so far.

I was very disappointed when I got the TNT Monstervision version as I was hoping that would have the extra footage :( Not sure which network showed the longer version but I'll keep searching!

An update - apparantly FX showed this version at one point - anyone got a recording from FX?

Someone had posted The Stepfather pictures from the TV version. I am too looking for that version and would be willing to make copies / or trade. I have a decne collection.

I found this on a web site

i do know there was a TV version that aired on FX long time ago that included additional scenes and sadly they would of been included on the new blu-ray but red shirt pictures was unable to locate that version

would explain why the extra scenes were not on the dvd

I am thinking the same darn thing, someone has it but is so fearful they won't get it back. I been looking high and low for this martial. I heard a rumor that SHOUT had plans to have all the deleted scenes in the Stepfather DVD but couldn't find those scenes. Hopefully I will find it. and if I do, I will make copies so I can trade with others.

I keep looking for it but nothing so far. An idea someone gave me is to keep an eye out on ebay for people selling lots of used VHS tapes, which often have stuff already recorded on them. Most of the time you can look at the pictures and see what is written on the labels.

I got the tv version off iOffer a number of years ago. You can try there. But I was told by a friend that buying off iOffer is buying bootleg so just a warning. I wasn't aware of that when I bought my movies.
