No one's gonna hire these kids for anything simply because they know calculus. They were sold a false bill of goods on that front! Not to mention: While they were spending seemingly 100% of their time learning math, they weren't learning other subjects so they weren't going to be well-rounded.

I got a job as a material estimator and math tutor because of my knowledge in calculus.
shareBeing able to read and write well would have been more useful. Unless any of them became rocket scientists or engineers, they never used calculus, and forgot it within weeks.
