This movie seems to be underrated because it came out the same year in which the Overrated ( But Still Good ) Lethal Weapon came out. This movie had humor, a unique plot, and fantastic chemistry between Dreyfuss and Estevez. All and All, a very entertaining Buddy Cop Flick, and truly underrated. I give it a 8/10 rating.

No, it did well at the box office. They did a sequel six years later so it had to have been a hit.
shareRight, but this movie is hardly remembered, where as Lethal Weapon is considered a classic. This is one of the better movies of the Buddy Cop Genre ( If such a genre even exists ), and yet not many people seem to know about it.

True the movie was a big hit at the box office but for a blockbuster movie like this you would think it will get attention today. It is indeed underated just for that.
