Great movie but Emilio...

...seems like he's useless in this role.

By that I mean the story mostly revolves around Dreyfuss, and Emilio's part could have been played by an unknown since he had relatively nothing to do here.

But they play off eachother so well in this movie.

I thought Emilio was pretty funny, but that guy makes me laugh, especially when he gets mad, like when he says, "NO, I'M NOT *beep* WITH YOU, GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!"

I thought that aswell--he could of been in it alot more

It was Dreyfuss's veihcle really. But I thought emilios role was big enough, and their chemistry was brilliant.

No, Emilio Estevez played the straight man to Richard Dreyfuss's. In fact, the roles were reversed because usually the older man is the one who is married and more stable. Just watch the "Lethal Weapon" films as an example. Actually, it was a courageous decision to cast against type. I thought it worked well and because of Emilio Estevez's acting skill.
