Considering our "hero" is only 5'5?

At one point when he's coming out of the house disguised they say he looks 5'10. Is that possible to mistake five inches on somebody, even from a distance?

Well he was wearing the hat and the robe thingy, so maybe it can distort things a little.

Is it important NOW? I don't care how tall an actor is, they can convince me they are a hero if they act like one.
