'16th president?'

Why is a clue for Abraham Lincoln showing Emilio the Playboy centerfold? I don't get it.

"Worthington, we're being attacked by giant bats!"

reply

I could be wrong, but I think "Abe Lincoln" is used as slang, like "Holy Moly", etc. Emilios in awe of the centrefold obviously...

reply

I was thinking the model might have had long legs, and Lincoln was tall, but that seems like a stretch.

"Worthington, we're being attacked by giant bats!"

I'm pretty sure, since this movie was made in a time when people still had pubic hair(!),the centerfold's bush was a clue/reference to Lincoln's famous beard.

I guess you guys are very young. I got the joke the first time I saw it,but then again,I'm very old.

Edited for clarity (I think/hope)

Oh and I just happen to be watching this movie right now for the first time since the 80s and it's Abraham Lincoln's birfday NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!

reply

harry is correct. It was the pubic hair reference.

reply

I agree it is the beard/pubic hair they are referring to. Charlie Sheen also made a similar reference on 'Two and a Half Men', when he mentioned kissing Abraham Lincoln’s in one episode.

reply

Maybe he is showing a babe and that rhymes with Abe so it rang a bell with him.

reply

That's definitely reaching, but somehow strangely creatively appealing thinking

Even when I saw this movie when I was 11 years old, I thought it was pubic hair. It's obvious.
