For a while, season 1 of the OC had a very similar storyline. I believe they even reference SKOW in the show. Adam Brody and Samaire Armstrong are very Keith/Watts-ish.
I can definitely see Ellen as Watts. She would be great. I think John Gallagher Jr. could be a great Keith. For Amanda and Hardy? Laura Ramsey and James Snyder.
