I laugh at the line after that in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, when Cameron says " I am not gonna sit on my ass as the events that affect me unfold to determine the course of my life. I'm going to take a stand. I'm going to defend it. Right or wrong, I'm going to defend it ". Lol it's the way that Cameron/Alan Ruck delivers that line that makes it funny.

How many guys would willingly walk into a house of 200 people, all of whom are against you, and many of whom will pummel you?
