The best of the John Hughes "high school" films...

While it was not the most successful of his teen films, this always seemed like it might be the best to me, great talent, great story, funny side characters - a soundtrack that is arguably even better than Pretty in Pink's...

I go back and forth whether this, or Pretty in Pink, is the best of the John Hughes high-school films.

Nothing even comes close to The Breakfast Club - you may LIKE SKOW the best, but it's not, objectively The Best.

Yeah, have to agree. The Breakfast Club is John Hughes' Ninth Symphony. But SKOW is for sure underrated. Its not as well-known as most of his other movies.

Skow is un another league. The best by far. Most people knows it, tbc is quite overrated as most brat pack movies

"Some kind of wonderful" was my favorite of his films. I watched it many times years ago when I was younger. It was on TV today and I watched it, and remembered how much I used to like it. I liked how the friendship of Keith and Watts blossomed to romance in the end. And Eric Stoltz was gorgeous in it.

I liked the soundtrack too (I like 80s New Wave music and it had some) I especially like the song "She loves me" which is used in my favorite scene where she practiced kissing with him.

I liked 'Pretty in Pink' too, but 'Some kind of wonderful' is my most favorite.
