'Blade Runner' influences

The first ten minutes of this film--the production design, especially--seem to be heavily influenced by "Blade Runner." Just look at that introductory shot of Los Angeles: skyscrapers towering over a squalid street scene below, with a giant TV screen propagandizing the peons who scuttle about, just trying to live. That film's influence continues to be felt decades later.

"You can keep the gum."

Just to touch on it further without being too long-winded. The reasons both films are so similar is because they have illuminati influences and you could say both were meant to be a form of predictive programming (especially "Running Man.") Look how "the Running Man" got right that around this time we would have reality shows. Funny thing was, when it was made there was no such thing as reality shows. If you go on youtube, it really does look like much of the opening text of "the Running Man" is going to come true.

To show you I am not a crock about both films having illuminati in them, go to youtube and type both films with illuminati in the search. It will open your eyes to symbolism they had in both films.
