On Starz / Encore

I tuned in last weekend to watch Robocop, which I've loved since I saw it in a NYC theatre in 1987. I've watched it on cable several times over the years.

I'd seen Robocop on Encore earlier this year and didn't notice anything different.

When I turned on Encore Suspense, last Saturday, I noticed the listing rating to be " N/R " (N/A).

I wondered: "Could it be the UNRATED Robocop??" So I watched with interest the main scene where Murphy is brutally shot. I have to say it LOOKED like it was more graphic than I recall. Also, when Bodickker is stabbed with the blade by Murphy, near the end, the scene seemed more explicit and lasted a a second or so longer

The running time also ran longer than it has before, about a minute or two longer.

Anyway, I wanted to share this with everyone.
