Trying to figure out if this is the movie I am thinking of

Okay, so when I was a young child in the 80's, I remember trying to watch a movie that my parents were watching (spying from a blind spot, so to speak). I remember very few details:

Takes place at a high school. The killer attacks an older man, presumably a teacher, but I could be wrong. The attack is at night; it may have taken place outside, but I could be wrong. The killer removes the victim's heart, and puts it on/in his mouth. The heart may have still been beating.

Does that happen in Return to Horror High? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure if it happens in return to horror high, but I know for certain this happens in Friday the 13th part 9: Jason Goes to Hell. Jason's beating heart is on the table and a doctor or someone in a hospital takes a bite.

I haven't seen "Return To Horror High" in over ten years, but I distinctly remember a scene very much like the one you described. If I'm not mistaken, the victim was a biology teacher and earlier in the film, had made fun of a student who didn't wish to dissect a frog in class. Oh, the irony. :-P

In RTHH you never see his heart. You just see his chest cut open and that's it.

Ummmm, no. The killer rips open the Biology teacher's chest, takes out the heart, and puts it in the teacher's mouth, just like the OP said.

that was exactly the scene that stuck with me since i was a kid!! the teacher having the heart cut out and put in his mouth. I'm pretty sure he was nailed to the table too?? It has been bugging me for years which film I had seen it in, glad to see i'm not the only one who was trying to figure it out!

Yes yes YES this DOES happen in Return to Horror High.

Yeah, I just saw this movie, and it does happen like the OP described. Probably the best scene in this movie too, actually.

I've never seen Eaten Alive, but I'll have to check it out. I just loved the Kill Bill movies, but was highly annoyed at TNT's handling of the line used there. Is Eaten Alive any good?

Thanks everyone for the replies. I had actually recently found this on Fearnet OnDemand and had watched it specifically looking for this scene. And I have to give myself some credit- I can't believe how well I remembered that scene. It scared the bejesus out of me as a kid, which is probably why I remembered it.
Anyway, when I had watched it, I thought to myself that I should post on this thread again just to give it some closure, but it slipped my mind by the time the movie ended.

Okay...I was thinking of another scene that may have been in this movie. A scene where some guy was hanging upside down and some kind of fan was coming towards him getting ready to slice him up or whatever...and just right before it hit him some movie crew threw "blood" all over him? Is this the right movie? Also...there was another one where some kind of creature was crawling around on the ceiling and saying "Phoebe" in a demonic voice. Any help on that one?

The guy hanging upside down who ends up chopped up by a fan (which we don't see) is in "Return to Horror High", which I'm watching right now. Actually, that victim is Philip McKeon. The teacher who gets his heart cut out is Vince Edwards.

I don't know about the crawling creature that says, "Phoebe." Of course, the film isn't over yet. That doesn't sound like a familiar scene to me, but I'm not counting out anything in "RTHH", which I haven't seen since it first aired on HBO or possibly Showtime at least 20 years ago.

I tuned in especially for Brendan Hughes. I'd forgotten that George Clooney is in it AND Scott Jacoby!
