Song when Zed and the blond fall in love

I'm hoping I have the right movie. Bob Goldthwaite/Zed and a blond female in training are on the academy lawn and start giving each other passionate/humorous looks while an uptempo 80's song starts playing. The two run at each other, shown in slow motion, and run into each other, knocking each other down and falling to the ground sighing.

Does anyone know the name of the song or band? I believe it was a hit song.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, the song is called, "It Doesn't Have to Be That Way", sung by the Blow Monkeys (don't ask about that group's name). That was a pretty good moment, since this time it was Zed, not Mahoney, falling in love with a pretty girl. It was also funny when they start to kiss and Zed leans against her camera, which flashes in his face and he falls down. He sort of enjoyed that. By the way, all you had to do was check the end credits to get the song title.

Whenever I think of PA 4, I think about this scene - and this incredibly appealing track. A shame it never charted in the U.S.
