Okay, I watched this movie for the first time eysterday with my dad, and he said Hawk was on the wrong side of the road, I went back and looked and he was on the left side of the road, not the right. It's soon after he picks up his kid at the beginning, did anybody else notice this?

sharethey had to put the camera somewhere. they probably set up in the correct lane. or the image was flipped to match which way the truck was traveling when we first saw it. i.e. if a car is moving from left to right then you show it going from right to left it would appear as if they are two different vehicles that are traveling into eachother.

You're probably right about the image being flipped. In original Star Trek episodes, you'll occasionally see William Shatner's hair parted on the wrong side because the image had, for some reason, been flipped.
there are tons of roadways in america with one way only stretches.

I just watched it in slow motion and the steering wheel in the truck is on the left side. So the image is not flipped.
And behind the truck you can see cars in the correct lane.
Maybe they had to be in the left lane for filming purposes?
Maybe not enough room to make a truck safely pass by?
But I have another question.
It looks like the Grand Canyon. But where at the Grand Canyon is a place you can drive so close next to it? I live in Vegas and want to go there.
