I hope Stallone will wake up.

If he hasn't already.

I like this movie and to be honest, when 'Rocky' or Rambo' movies came out, we waited till they reached cable/TV (sorry SS fans). But when THIS movie came out, we made a beeline to the theatre.

It's not the greatest but, people like it for different reasons. It was a new thing at the time, for Stallone. I hope one day he thinks that that is cool. Hell he got WAY too much money to work on it and it didn't look like it took long to film. LOL

I found his acting to be lacking in this film, but still enjoyable to watch. He is a better dramatic actor than he gets credit for, and for the roles he sometimes chooses. For whatever reason he was not into it, and only did it for the money. A lot of it. By then, he was an established star with two successful franchises. I read an interview Roger Ebert did with him for the press tour of Rambo III, where he implied that he didn't like working with the director.

Agreed, his acting was subpar here. He usually does good with dramatic roles but he was ok in this role. The movie is still good and has a good messsge.
