Anyone out there know who to write to get this released on DVD? How about a commentary w/Matt Adler and John Philbin? Maybe some deleted scenes?? Outtakes? Anyone?? Bueller...??

can't buy it for love nor money....it's a classic 'i was fourteen when i first saw it film' up there with (actually better) than gleaming the cube

i like this film as well. I saw it back in '88 when it first came to cable tv. Arizona kid goes to hawaii to surf with the top surfers. Meets new friends and a jedi master surfer amd meets a young nia peeples too. Not a great film but i still like it.

DUDES THIS IS OUT I got this on Region 1 and its bang on with some great extras. Got it from play usa cheap and its ace!

This movie is Da BOMB! I just recently purchased a copy on DVD and I LOVE it! I must have seen this movie bout 30 times allready. I especially like the interviews with the cast, director, and producer. You have gotta buy this DVD if you love this movie as I do... So, "STAY LOOSE HOWLEY"

I'm thrilled that this got a dvd release from Universal. The icing on the cake was the extras. There's new interviews with every major character from the film and a director commentary. How awesome is that?

I have a copy that's region 1. Fantastic film.
