soundtrack

Has anyone actually found the soundtrack to the movie? I saw your posts with the individual song titles - any ideas on where to download the songs?

I am glad to see others still love this movie. I was 15 and fell in love with it and stil pop it in my DVD at least twice a week.

Supposidly there were only one or two soundtracks released to record stores when the movie came out. I never see any on ebay. But I am looking for the same thing. Old record stores may have it....

IF YOU GO TO AOLVIDEO.COM AND TYPE IN PSEUDO ECHO - THEY HAVE ALL THREE VIDEOS THERE FROM THE MOVIE - ONE WAS ACTUALLY MADE FOR NORTH SHORE AND HAS SCENES FROM THE MOVIE. I WAS THRILLED TO FIND THESE - SO FAR I HAVE NOT FOUND ANY OTHERS.

We found almost 90% of the songs were downloadable on-line through places like ITunes, E-Mule and Lime Wire. There are some ultra rare ones (North Shore Roar) but they will pop up from time to time.

Have you any idea where I can get North Shore Roar? I have every tune apart from that one and I've sweated too much blood and tears to fail now!

I've been trying to find the soundtrack myself with no luck whatsoever. The song I've really trying to get a hold of is during the scene where Rick is using the surfboard for the first time at Waimea that Chandler originally made for Burkhart. Tried searches but haven't been successful. Any ideas?

After a long search, I've finally found the song that I was referring to in my previous post. For anyone interested, the song is "Chessboards" by Killing Joke.

iTunes has the song available, but selecting "Chessboards" after searching for Killing Joke, iTunes does not play the correct song. You have to select the song "Adorations".

The download seems to be the same recording as a video you can view on YouTube.

Here's the URL:

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Killing+Joke+Chessboards&search=Search

I haven't purchased the song from iTunes yet for the fact that it seems to be the same version on YouTube, but I can't be absolutely sure since I've only heard a clip from iTunes.

I've really been trying to track down the studio version which was played in the movie, and the only place I was able to find it was a Russian based mp3 download site. I don't think I'm going to use this service because (1) I don't particularly trust any website that ends in a .ru (2) They require you to deposit a minimum of 35 Euros using a credit card, bank transfer, etc.

If you are still interested, here's the URL:

http://www.mp3search.ru/album.aspx?id=32553&fid=509219

Hope this helps. I know it's only for one song on the soundtrack, but Google searches should help with the other tracks.

Hi There,

The song you are after is "Am I the One" by Gary Wright. I just downloaded this successfully today from eMule v0.47c. You are able to get it from here and the quality is excellent. Type in Am I The One and it will come up. I have it now so you will be able to get it from me. I'm on this program all the time.

If its not this one, then it may be Nature of the Beast by Angel City. Which is Doc Neeson from the Angels. You can access this from eMule as well.

All the best!
