I mean, he didn't look Hawaiian at all, yet he was talking so much pidgin English it was insane. Sounded really fake coming from him also.
If they were going to have someone speaking pidgin, shouldn't it have been someone who actually knew it? And maybe looked local?
I don't think he was supposed to look Hawaiian.. he was a white man who had obviously spent a lot of time there and just adopted the local dialect.
