If you watch the trailer you can see some things that aren't in the movie, maybe one day we will see a special edition.
shareI noticed in the trailer that it showed the initial meeting and conversation between Benjy Taylor (Sweeney) and Lieutenant Vincent Bracey (Quaid) with Taylor in his deputy uniform. Taylor never wears the full uniform in the movie. He wears a partial uniform (white t-shirt) at the beginning of the movie, when they just got off duty and enter a "cop bar". This is when the initial meeting of Taylor and Bracey occurs in the film.
