Double feature
What would one pair with "No Man's Land" in a double feature? Preferably also 80's and similar in content.

Wisdom (1986)
I am Djour Djilios. could you spell that please? I don't think so. Try it with a "D".
Nice. Never heard of it. Will check it out, sounds appropriate. Thanks.

You're welcome. It's the first thing that came to mind. It's got Emilio Estevez in it and Charlie Sheen has a cool cameo in it, plus it features cars and some action just like here in No Man's Land.
Another Charlie Sheen movie, 'Three for the Road' would also make a good double feature, as would 'The Wraith' which is about a ghost car (also with Charlie Sheen.

I know I'm late to the party, but Wisdom was my knee-jerk answer... these two films are to Sheen and Estevez what Commando and Cobra are to Arnie and Sly.
Good shout!
👍
I need to watch Wisdom again. Awesome little movie.
we're almost certain that ghouls and werewolves occupy high positions at city hall
I need to find a copy of Wisdom... it's 12 quid on Amazon for a reg 1 (I'm reg 2, but that *should* be ok)...

Yeah it plays region 1... still haven't got round to ordering a copy of Wisdom yet... need to get Return To Salem's Lot as we?l...!
shareI say "To Live and Die in LA". Same city, similar atmosphere and soundtrack, main character is an undercover agent too, and he is in it not just for the law but for personal reasons too. The bad guy drives an exotic, even though it's "Italian trash" as Ted would have said. As stylish as No Man's Land. Same vibe, although maybe darker and more violent.
shareI love that film (check my profile pic!) But I'd say it's not as cheesy (in a good way)... TLADILA sits better with Manhunter - apart from the same lead, it had a similar vibe and look...
shareI would say The Wraith (Charlie Sheen again),The Hidden(1987),The Hitcher and an 80's comedy Secret Admirer(totally underrated).
