i feel i have to say this so many fans think wes craven made this film what it is no he did not he diddnt write this I see this all the time were people keep thinking wes made this film what it is no he diddnt an i love wes but he had nothing I repeat nothing to do with how this turned out in wes wrote one draft an in it it was totally different freddy had no humor he was a sick pervert that said stuff like im going to rape you an your corpse an im going to crap on your dead body also kruger wasnt a son of a 100 maniacs he was just the same guy from the first except he became a cussing pervert lol also freddy was born in the elm street house that used to be a different place his origin was totally different there wasnt any humor what so ever in wes script so if you like the jokes it diddnt come from wes also everyone in wes script died everyone except kristen an dr neil an the elm street house was some kind of link to the dream world like a portal no diss respect to wes but I keep seeing fans think he made this movie lol I dont think wes even liked this film could be wrong
