Did Dr. Gordon Die?

So at the end we see what we see with the house next to the bed the light flips on. The model house Patricia's character was building. Reason I bring that up is because in the next movie, Dr. Neil Gordon is not referenced or shown at all. Are we supposed to believe he died? I was hoping he would've been brought back in 4 but he wasn't in it at all. Is there any reason why they don't even have the survivors talking to him on the phone or anything like that? I mean they could've just had someone saying "ok thanks Dr. Gordon" then hang up or something like that. He was a pretty big character in Part 3 so it just seems like a waste to not even maybe say oh he moved to another town or something like that.

Nope still alive. The kids left the hospital and most wouldn't keep in touch with him

reply

Ah ok ty. I'm really shocked they didn't include some sort of cameo in 4 for him u know?

It wouldn't be a bad idea. Instead of Freddy killing all three dream warriors they should've killed Dr. Gordon, Kincaid and Joey.

That way it leaves Kirsten alive as the dream master or she trains Alice too take her spot near the end

reply

The funny thing is I always thought that if Patricia Arquette had returned, I thought Kirsten would have survived and taught Alice like you suggested.

reply

No it was all ways the plan to kill the dream warriors as for doctor neil that actor was big back in those days an he was considered a catch for nightmare they simply diddnt ask him back because they diddnt think he was needed or would do it

reply

Dr. Gordon went on to play in Jigsaws game and eventually became his protege. His experience with Freddy helped him survive.
