I just bought 'The Return Of The Living Dead' blu-ray recently & the transfer & extras are fantastic for such a much loved albeit antequated, movie. That got me thinking about one of my other favorites from the '80's 'scare/comedy' genre, 'Night Of The Demons'. Has anybody heard of an upcoming blu-ray release?

I dont think there will be one. But you never know, if they could release ROTLD on blu-ray, then they might with this :)

i wish.

the remake is going to get re-released on blu in about a week. but no news on the original.
be great if they released the original and its sequels on bluray.

Does anyone know if notd2 dvd will be back in print soon its priced high right now.

I'd love for the 'Night of the Demons Trilogy' to come to Blu-Ray. I haven't seen Part 3 in years, like VHS years. Just recently saw Parts 1&2 on DVD from Netflix.

There releasing pt2 on bluray next month dont know why not the original.

Scream factory wanted to do it, but supposedly the owner wanted too much money. There's a subscription cable service that I have on Fios called ViewNow that has Night of the Demons in hd, it's a little brighter than it should be but it looks quite good.

I hate them technical details. I really wish when a studio makes an HD master/transfer of a catalog title that they would then proceed to release the Blu-Ray instead of waiting for the so-called 'right time.'

I'm more excited about the new zombie book written by the writer of NOTD. Heard about it from a friend who knows him but can't find more details anywhere. Hope it's movie worthy.

answering my own question, but Scream Factory is releasing it on Blu Ray Feb. 2014!
