I really like this little romantic comedy. Rip Torn was on par and there was plenty of campy yet fun moments. Kim and Jeff had some chemistry as well.

I think Kim wasn't as good as on Hard Country for instance (another movie with a similar theme) but still pulled out a decent performance. Jeff Bridges stole the whole movie for me, though Rip Torn's acting was also pretty entertaining to watch!

This is a very pleasantly little film, and the use of '50s scenery is wonderful. Kim and Jeff work well together, and Rip is always a joy to watch. Still, this feels a bit like a '50s version of "Raising Arizona," which was released the same year. 6/10 stars.
