maybe this otherwise funny, tightly scripted film gets low ratings (i only give it a "6," myself) because there's no explanation for how the 3 villains chasing the bridges and basinger characters escape unscathed from a pitch-black room containing a half-dozen adult rattlesnakes?!
maybe the "surprised" commentors should ask themselves that question.

Well, I guess we could overlook it because these snakes did come from the travelling snake handling preacher men. Perhaps they were a bit more tame around people?
Seriously though, I would not let this one moment keep someone from watching it. In the end, it was a cute show.
It's not really the type of movie that lends itself to heavy analysis, but it's a pleasant enough romp. I gave it 6/10 also.
