The Monster Squad rap

The other night I'm listening to this and I start thinking about Scary German Guy, when they say 'you know a lot about monsters' and he says 'now that you mention it, I suppose I do' and looks at the tattoo on his wrist, it hit me, in real life the monsters are people, people LIKE the Nazis, the Klan, the neo-skinheads, etc., and you think about some of the lyrics, 'Who can stop their deadly might? Who will stand up for the right? Normal stuff won't stop them because they live on hate, got to stop those creatures, send them back to hell, there's no place to run, nowhere to hide, now it's time to see what you got inside', etc, and somebody could tweak the lyrics to fit a different story in which the monsters are of the human variety, and it would still largely fit. Then it occurred to me you could tweak the movie's storyline and yes it would be a very different movie and not as fantastic, not as cool, but that would still be a hell of a concept, a group of kids going up against the most evil forces in the world, least of all in their own country.

Anyway, just a thought, make of it what you will.
