Looking for a movie

Hello guys. I need your help in finding one movie i've seen as kid. I'm not native english speaker so i hope you'll understand me.

Judging from plot , ''The monster squad'' sounds similar, i never seen ''the monster squad'' so i can't tell for sure if it's a right one.

i don't remember much of details , but i remember that movie had group of young kids from 8 to 12 i think, they did create or found Frankenstein's Monster (or some kind of of walking zombie or monster) and one of the kids father suddenly dies from heart attack. i know, not much of deatails but hope you'll help me to find it. It could be ''the monster squad'' or could be another movie, i just want to make sure that i'm moving in a right direction or not :)

It sounds similar, but none of the fathers die in Monster Squad.

oh , thanks for reply, damn, it makes the things seem more complicated :) was there any dad being hospitalized? because i don't remember if the dad died for sure.

The movie you are looking for is called Frankenstein and Me. It's only been released on VHS but it should be up on Youtube in parts.

wow, thanks a lot buddy. yep, this is a movie i'm lookig for. whoa Burt Reynolds and Ryan Gosling. Never thought that movie had such an interesting cast :)

I'm often amazed when I see movies/shows I grew up on (usually pretty bad movies) and haven't seen in a long time only to notice actual celebrities in them. When I was a kid this Australian movie called BMX Bandits used to come on TV all the time and I saw it a bunch of times. I probably didn't see it for 25 years until I noticed it was on Netflix one day and loaded it up just for the fun of it, and to my surprise the girl I'd seen so many times in that movie was none other than a 16-year-old Nicole Kidman.

"Dan Marino should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell. Would you like a cookie son?"
