They should remake this with 80s horror villains
Freddy would be the ringleader, and his team would be Jason, Michael, and Leatherface. You could also have cameos by Chucky and Leprechaun.

shareWould cost too much money, would need to be rated R, and the conflict between the different character studios would be crazy.
Also, there would be a 90% chance of this turning out very cheesy and not old school.
And the studios would be a problem, like this person said.
I mean, at least wait until Disney buys them all out.
I don't think Freddy plays well with others.
In Freddy vs Jason, he only used Jason to get people to believe in him enough for him to get his powers back. Once Jason got one of his kills, he was pretty mad.
I think very few 80's horror villains would work together. Michael Myers is just evil and after his own family and anyone that gets in his way.
Jason just kills people he believes his mother would, because they come into Crystal Lake territory. However, he could probably be tricked into it.
Leatherface just does what his family tells him to do. Maybe he could be tricked too.
Chucky never listens to anybody. He hates being told what to do. It sets him off.
Leprechaun is actually supposed to be a different Leprechaun in each film. The last two might be the same, but I can't remember. The last film was pretty awful, except for the bong scene.
Of course, the same could be said about all of the original monsters too, but in order to get around that, you have to wait until their stories are mostly forgotten and only a shell of their character remains.
So I guess what I'm saying is that you'd need to wait longer, until us Fredheads don't go around screaming, "But Freddy wouldn't do that!" I don't know about the other guys' big fans; nobody is cooler than Freddy to me.
I agree, you could also have the Gremlins, Critters & Ghoulies in it. The Thing. The Cenobites. Pumpkinhead. Be lots of fun.
