Movie kinda sucked...
But, Frank Langella was *awesome*. Guy has an amazing talent for making dialogue epic.
Amy: I swear to God...I swear to God! That is NOT how you treat your human!

Skeletor is an iconic film villain to me and all thanks to Frank Langella.

I actually thoroughly enjoy the movie. Of course I came at this as a Dolph Lundgren fan, for some reason He-Man completely escaped my childhood.

I remember before it came out someone had given me the movie poster and thought it looked kinda cool (I was 9) although I wondered why He Man's armor was black. When I saw the movie on VHS a few months later, I hated it. It was NOTHING like the cartoon. The robots were lame, Skeletor never had a clunky robot army, he had mercenaries with unique personalities like Beast Man, Trap Jaw and Tri-Clops. Skeletor was kinda cool I guess, but his eyes should'be been just black pits in his skull with no eyeballs. Langella was good. Dolph was fine. The teen subplot with the cosmic key mcguffin was blah. And the highly annoying side kick who didn't previously exist was just lame. I think I just expected the movie to be a live action version of the cartoon and was immensely disappointed. No Eternia. No Snake Mountain. No Battle Cat.
