security guard's work history at Prince & Co.

Seen the movie probaby 30 times, but as I was watching it for the 31st time tonight, I noticed this. When Estell Getty's character tells Spader to fire the security guard, she says "you hired him; you fire him!"... then when Spader is introducing the guard to B.J. over at Illustra, he tells him that the guard had been with Prince & Co. for 15 years. Spader was in his mid-twenties at the time, and I don't think his character was supposed to be more than early 30's.... so unless he was a hiring manager at 20, there's no way he could have hired a guy that had been there for 15 years.

It's not crazy to think he could have that job at 20. After all, maybe his characters family has been involved with the company for a long time. Also, I don't recall but did he say he was a security guard for 15 years or specifically 15 years at that store? Otherwise, decent observation.
