I dunno', Burt (Malone) was pushing 50 or 51 when this movie was made. The girl (Cynthia Gibb, the actress) was a little less than half his age. But then of course her character in the movie (Jo Barlow) seemed like she was only in high school. I know he was being facetious what with the socks comment and all, but still, he was way older than her!
