Question about grave markers at the end

There is a scene near the end where we see the graves of the Australian soldiers who died in the final battle and I noticed some of the graves have crosses and some have crosses with a sort of diamond pattern added, see the linked screen shot.

Does anyone know what the significance of this is? They almost look like Celtic crosses made in wood rather than stone. Is it a Catholic/Protestant thing or something else?

Sorry about the late response. The generic crosses are Christian in general typically, the diamond pattern was the closest replacement possible for the symbol used for Presbyterians or Lutherans who both have a circle around the cross section.

You are correct though it is a Celtic cross in origin.
