Sniper scene
I think the sniper scene should have been in all versions of this because, it explains Roger’s line to Riggs, “I heard about your little stunt yesterday, pretty heroic.”

shareI had the DVD director's cut of LW that had this scene integrated into the film. Regretfully, after upgrading to the Bluray version some years back, I then realized it was missing this vital scene! I can only hope if it gets another upgrade to 4k, that this scene is included again, because it is essential to the viewers perception that Riggs is suicidal.
The other scenes that display his suicidal tendencies aren't as effective. When he puts the gun in his mouth at home, he's clearly very depressed, but not a danger to anyone but himself. The scene where he jumps off the building with the jumper, not really suicidal at all since he clearly knows there's an inflatable mat on the ground.
No, this movie absolutely needs the school sniper scene.
it's a good scene. i guess people would assume the little stunt was referring to the christmas tree lot arrest. too bad they don't release the extended cuts on blu ray, the scenes added to part 3 also make it a stronger film and let's us see sam the dog again.
shareYes it was on the DVD but it's not on the Blu Ray, I think it's a good scene although without that scene Roger may have been referring to his stunt at the Christmas Tree lot
