That's even more ridiculous than the movie.

It is better than a 2.8. I have seen a lot worse than this.

Yeah, the rating is a little too low. I thought Jaws 3 was way worse too.

It was probably the only movie they'd ever seen. Can't imagine who would actually like this junk.

Personally I gave it a 2 but it should be noted that it doesn't automatically mean they think it deserves a 10. This film was on the bottom 100 list at one time, some people gave it a 10 to get it off.

Because it's better than a 2.8. The movie's soundtrack alone makes it at least 5 in my opinion, because it's that good. The first 20 minutes of the movie are also very good as the Sean death scene was great. Sure it goes down hill after that and the shark sucks but there are so worse movies out there that should be much lower than they are rated.
