Can't believe I am looking for an excuse but....

People say "How did the shark know to follow Ellen down to the Bahamas and how did it get there so fast?" Well (God this is bad to even write up) what if after the shark killed Sean it started and made its way down because it somehow "Knew" Michael was living in the Bahamas and he already had like a week start before Ellen left Amity? What if Ellen traveling down to the Bahamas was the coincidence and the shark somehow knew where another Brody kid was stationed at through his constant contact in the water? Dumm I know, but it still sounds better than the shark "Followed" Ellen down and made it in record time. Though everything is *beep* anyway, this just makes it less, I guess.
