I just recently saw this movie on tv. Was the jerry seinfeld theme song played in the movie when they showed the kids at the "Jerry's" diner or did the tv station add that in to the movie? It would be hilarious if that was in the movie cuz then it would have been long before Seinfeld.

He's a horror movie host that runs these movies and pokes fun at them, along with adding occasional (some times more, to make it interesting) sound effects, including the scene you just mentioned. I watched that movie last Saturday (April 30th) at 11 pm CT. Maybe this was the show you saw.
