pretty good
i don't usually watch war movies but this one i saw for personal reasons, i have an uncle who was there at hamburger hill. it is a powerful film, well acted and directed. i thought courtney vance really stands out as doc. hated to see him die. also its pretty historically accurate from what i know. 400 american casualties and thousands of nva dead. the most disturbing part for me was the disrespect vietnam vets were getting from those hippie *beep* back home. those letters from home were outragous as was the story of a dead veterans father being told his son deserved to die. overall a deep and moving film
