Did anyone see original release of Hamburger Hill when it was in the theaters? I did, and I SWEAR 100% that for the above described scene they used the studio/album version of "Feel Like I'm Fixin To Die Rag"(complete with calliope organ, whistles, kazoos, and more band instrumentation) but a few years later when I saw it on VHS and later purchased the DVD, the more subdued but still awesome "live" Woodstock version was used instead---I distinctly recall this, because up until that time I was only familiar with the live Woodstock version and when I saw the film in the theater I noticed the different version right away and started looking for it in record (ha - record)stores the next day....can anyone else back me up on this?? It has nagged me for years.
