What's a FMG?

This is bugging me. Several times in this film, soldiers are referred to as "FMG's." At one point after a battle scene, a squad leader comes back with a couple soldiers who look exhausted and shocked, and everyone who was already sitting down said something like "No FMGs no more." and everyone starts chuckling.

I'm thinking it's another term for a green, or inexperienced soldier, but i'm not sure. Can anyone help me with this?

You threw me for a sec, until you explained. You are referring to FNG, not FMG. You are correct in your guess, FNG stands for F ucking New Guy.

We had to ask my friend's dad what that meant.

Another phrase that I like is "What the fu ck, over?" Truckers use this too.
