My least favorite part of the movie; clearly just an excuse for the filmmakers/scriptwriters to 'wax politic' on the war. If it had been handled in a more 'sensitive' manner (say newsy was an older guy, a vet from Korea & 'Pork Chop Hill' & he comments on not wanting to be "the last guy to die" back then, as now...)
