Anybody notice the ant?

Yes you read it right...
At 1:24.18-1:24.23 there is an ant walking from the
right side of the screen to the middle. Behind the picture so to speak.
So if anybody can verify this and maybe explain where in the
moviemaking process this can occur I would appreciate it.
I spotted this on the region 2 DVD.

Thank you

Yeah, I see it. It goes right across Motown's face as he's sitting with the troops gathered around. It's very faint, like a ghost.

It is an ant, you can tell by the movement it makes as it falls off a bit and keeps walking.

I noticed it too. Looks like it might've been on the camera lens. Adds more to the already gritty realism of the film, IMO.

"Zombies, man.....they creep me out."

haha i just saw it, never seen anything like that before. weird.

Not the first time it's happened. Most films shot on location have a person designated as 'insect wrangler' or sometimes 'fly wrangler' whose job it is to keep the pests off lens and actor alike. Some famous failures can be seen in a fly doing the lens-crawl in 'Captains of The Clouds' (James Cagney) and the infamous Flies of Rome in most scenes of 'A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" (Zero Mostel.) Director Richard Lester finally gave up, began calling the flies "supporting cast" and gave them an animated crawl during final credits. Now that's class!

In the opening credits of "Mama Rosa" a Fly can be seen literally inside the lens. Strange but memorable.
