Giving that it's IMDb rating isn't in the low 1's, I'd easily argue it's overrated.

This movie had good costumes, good songs, and a mature plot.
Just another trippy 80s movie.

I remember being fascinated by the art work in the cards as a kid

I AGREE...AND ALSO LOVED THE CARDS...GOT THEM OUT AND ADDED TO THEM WHEN MY DAUGHTER GOT INTO THEM FOR A WHILE.
