Cult Classic
Im 26 now but I remember this movie form my childhood and I dont know why either. Maybe its the cards or something. But I found a copy at walmart for 2.50 and bought it. Then it came back to me why I remembered it.
It is freaky as hell. I dont mean the plot of the movie, because theres isn't a clear one. The characters are what does it for me. They are creepy looking and freak me out. But for that I love them.
You have to have an open mind on this movie. A real WIDE open mind. It could have done without the corny singing about helping and stuff. This movie to me is one long public service announcement. It dont really have a plot till the end. Its mostly them sitting around talking about nothing.
The funniest part is when their singing about helping each other and their helping each other breaking into a sowing store to steal the stuff they need to sow clothes. Perfect message for your kids.
The names for the characters and not just the GPK, are funny in their own right. Juice, Tangerine, Dodger, Manzini and Blythe. Juice is my favorite, he's such a tool with his mullet and loud clothes and picking on a 12 year old when hes like in his 20's. But I just love to hate him.
I could go on but there is way to much to pick at. If your familiar with the GPK cards its a worth a look.
