Yes. It won best sound.

yep, it won the 1987 oscars for..

- Best Actor
- Best Actress
- Best supporting actress in a comedy
- Best supporting actor in a comedy
- Best sound (as mentioned above)
- Best costume design
- Best screenplay
- Best Special effects
- Best cinematography
- Best picture
- Best Dialogue
and it received a special oscar for "FILM OF THE CENTURY", only handed out once every 100 years.
